Thank you for taking the time and trouble to visit the Lady Jane Grey Primary School website.

We are one of three primary schools in the north-west Leicestershire village of Groby. We are a small school, with around 200 children on role. However, despite this in 2007 our SATS results put us in the top 50 schools in Leicestershire. A great achievement for all concerned.

We are continually progressing as a school and enjoy the challenges that education throws upon us. Over the coming months we are looking at introducing the "Creative Curriculum". An initiative within education to bring creativity back into school. This will not get in the way of Numeracy and Literacy, our core subjects, but our challenge is to find ways of making it more "creative" for the children. We are also to find ways to get the children outside more. A very interesting change and one that our teachers are looking forward to.
